Here humans with superhuman abilities have been the stuff or rumor, urban legend, and tabloid nonsense; however irrefutable proof that people with amazing, frightening and devastating abilities walk amongst an unsuspecting population has suddenly taken center stage. These stories are about how both that society, as well as the individuals with abilities, are handling the sudden new conflict going on within their world. |

A sinister group named Ground Zero removes all doubt about the existence of superhumans in the U.S. population by tearing a hole in downtown San Francisco. Its up to the hastily formed and trained team of Impact to counter Ground Zero's threat before the American public takes the actions of the mutant terrorists as the foundation for how to view and act on the superhuman subject. |
